Neoliberalism and the European social democracyon the national economic policies in West-Europe and North-America, where these models replaced Keynesiasm and the theoretical basis of socialist-social democratic parties and the North-American progressive parties. The collapse of communism in Central-East-Europe significantly impacted on the social democratic ideology and practice; it accelerated the disintegration of the so called "German model". The end of the social democratic Keynesiasm and the maintenance of the welfare systems that are becoming more and more marked-based, empty the welfare regulations and the regulation of the labour market.
