The article taken over from the French periodical M, starts out from the known role of the military-industrial complexes in the world's life and examines how these organisations reacted to the crisis of trade of their products. These reactions are in line with the general trends of capital: the emergence of national capital centres in the third world, European integration. The author refers to the unfavourable effects of the military industry in the capitalist economy itself, and urging a transition to a peace economy, he states that the ultimate solution is rejection of the capitalist idea and together with it, the war culture; exclusion of the principle of violence from the attitude of the socialist movements as well.
