Economic planning, computers and labour value

Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, it appeared for many that the so-called calculation debate has been decided for the benefit of the market. However, the imbalances of the world markets in the recent years reopen the question whether another type of economic coordination would be more rational. The authors believe that the spreading of moder computer science opens new ways before economic planning.

Decade of shame

The 1990s has been spent with giving up the identity and autonomy of the intellectuals. The intellectuals have betrayed themselves by taking over the way of thought of vendors and prostitutes. Their critical attitudes have been given up and they melted with the petit-bourgeois layers and became a conformist hurd.
