The ruling party of Hungary, Fidesz-MPP released a paper on the recent past of the nation to show that the political line of the current right-wing parties is a natural continuation of the best values of Hungarian tradition. The paper is full of misinterpretations, that shows its direct political function.

There are basically two methods for the falsification of history. One iof them is to keep silent on certain aspects of history, and the other one is to start the history of certain things from a particular date and forget about the background.
