The 1848 Hungarian revolution in international context
In 1848-49, the fate of the Hungarian revolution and war of independence depended primarily on the events in Germany. Since the German revolution did not have a "Paris" or "Koblentz" its defeat and hence the Europe-wide dynastic restoration were inevitable.
Theses on moderniosation, human capital and socialism
The essay follows Schumpeter's prediction, in which the Austian economist claimed that the changes of the 20th century would lead to something completely different from capitalism, and we could even call that socialism. These changes are related to human capacities and needs.
