The politics of Boris Yeltsin have been developed  and implemented according to the interests of foreign capital. These policies have caused immense hardships to the Russian population, and the destruction of large segments of the Russian economy. The Communist Party of Russia should not bee seen as the party to save the nation from the perils of privatisation.

Behind the facade of democratic rhetoric, the relationship between NATO and Russia is rather tense. The drive of NATO to destroy Russian military power hjas been a cause of various agressive moves of the Russian army.

It is rational to use secret agencies in dictatorships, it is useful for the dictator to avoid certain mistakes and overcome coups in case. These apparatuses, however, are totaly unable to achieve the most important i.e. to mobilise the political support of the population.
