“Well, whose revolution?” – Romania 1990

The author writes about the power struggle in the post-Ceausescu Romania, taking the actors of the political fighting one after the other, from the Iliescu group planning the coup against Ceausescu through the Romanian orthodox church to the army which is in key position. The article ends with guessing the chances of the Romanian political scene.

Yugoslavia at crossroads

By giving a detailed history and the emergence of self-government in the Yugoslav society, the author tries to prove that Yugoslavia's crisis does not mean the denial of the idea of self-government. In the second part of the article, he analyses the possibility of the federation's disintegration and the differences and relations between the individual provinces' internal development.
