Continuation of a paper published in our 54th issue, which discussed non-Marxist theories of class. In this chapter, the author explains the relevance of Marx's theory of class.

The 1990s has been spent with giving up the identity and autonomy of the intellectuals. The intellectuals have betrayed themselves by taking over the way of thought of vendors and prostitutes. Their critical attitudes have been given up and they melted with the petit-bourgeois layers and became a conformist hurd.
