After the End – On The Auschwitz Album. Story of a Transport

Nothing is more present as the past, thus the question "does Auschwitz exist as aesthetic?" is a real oxymoron. It may exist, because three is no such aspect of culture, which is not a document of barbarism as well – as it is shown in the Auschwitz Album annoyingly. But if Auschwitz is the absolute new, the impossible what happened, then how this document on the impossible is possible?

A visionary pragmatist: Rudolf Meidner, 1914 – 2005

The late Rudolf Meidnert, who passed away just last December, was known as one of the fathers of the "Swedish model". With his economist colleagues he developed a model based on centralised wage negotiations and a solidarity wage system, which enabled them simultaneously achieve both high employment level and low inflation. Meidner's most foresighted idea was the program of gradually transferring corporate shares to employees, but not even the social democratic government was ready.

A critique of “anti-Leninist” anti-capitalism

Anti-Leninist anti-capitalism is a philosophical oxymoron, but it is nonetheless an existing and potent intellectual standpoint in "Anglo-Saxon political Marxism" – which has seen better days – and also elsewhere. It rejects some historical facts and developments with theoretical verve, thus barring the way for deep and comprehensive analysis of social developments.

World Revolution. A return to the strategy of global revolution also integrating 20th century’s experience

The author discusses possibilities for a second wave of the world revolution. The first was the attempt of the Bolsheviks, which failed by the Stalinist turn. Today "the only perspective for a global revolution is establishing revolutionary powder-kegs in the »Third World«, which would create horizontal ties among each other – ignoring fundamental imperialist cultural institutions and narratives of the »First World« – leading to subsequent armed struggle and organisation of uprisings, establishing of »liberated zones« and seizing of power in specific countries."
