The history of the Nazi genocide in the occupied territories of the Soviet Union is almost unknown in Hungary. This study aims to summarise this story and place it in the appropriate historiographic, historic, theoretical and political context.

This study shows that the Wehrmacht actively participated in the deportation ol the Jews, and also calls attention to the fact that apart from the racist ideology, real and vital interests were also present in the genocide.

The European sweep of the new right is partly due to the fact that traditional Fascism is left behind, and also to the phenomena of programmatic radicalism and extreme right populism. These aim for the changing of the political institutional system of society and against the welfare system and multiculturalism.
