The transnationalisation of law raises the question whether the power of nation states is declining and withit the monopoly of legislation on the nation state. The transnationalisation of law means the restructuring, rather than reducing of the existing governmental system. The elements of the global rule of law are related to the existing legal practice.

Crime is not only the goalé of power but is also one of the forms of power through the economic processes related to capital accumulation and the reproduction of social life and political power.
