This study examines the issue of child poverty. Central to the analysis is the role of unemployment in the family and its effects on children. The study describes aspects of the life of children and their early integration in the world of work. It outlines trends of their future and makes suggestions about their prospects.

It is not possible to resolve the problem of child poverty if we separate this issuefrom the wider issue of exploitation. By doing that, we shift the responsibility onto the world system that makes these and other extreme forms of exploitation. Legends of European literature and history often tell us about the child who was born to a poor family but being clever and talented rose above others. For the Christian Europe the proto-type was presented by Jesus himself who was born in a stable and lived the life of the poor until the triumphant resurrection.

There are basically two methods for the falsification of history. One iof them is to keep silent on certain aspects of history, and the other one is to start the history of certain things from a particular date and forget about the background.
