The question of globalisation
In their book Globalisation in Question, Paul Hirst and Grahame Thompson confront the rhetoric of globalisation with a robust assertion of the potential for democratic governance in defence of public interest. Although their conclusions should gladden the hart of all progressive citizens, Hugo Radice finds the book deeply wrongheaded and even dangerous, despite his agreement with many of the policy proposals őresented by the two authors.
