Neoliberalism is today seen as the only theory that is able to describe and at the same time control the process of modern globalization. Neoliberalism is, however, inadequate even theoretically as it does not recognize the immanent controversies of the "almighty" market logic let alone other important economic and social aspects that are crucial for the human life.

The study analyses the articles and assessments published for the ten-year anniversary of the Bokros-package. The author shows that even today the majority of them are characterised either by a deep antipathy against the package or by the need of self-justification and the ideology of de-nationalisation. Therefore the package is either presented as a scapegoat or it is accepted and glorified uncritically supported by one-dimensional and sometimes self-contradictory professional arguments.

Can the philosophy (and any social science) have social relevance or is it only the business of scholars? Does an intellectual have to – or can an intellectual – play a public role or he or she is predestined to formulate (often unpractical) theses that are taught at the university? The author addresses this question on the occasion of the centenary Sartre-conference organised in Rome.

According to Attila József "Marx's perception of history considered of four facts when he came stepped up. They were the principle of the historical development (Hegel), the new industrial technology, the working class unrest under its burden and the so-called utopian socialism, which was peaceful not militant, and which had a general human nature instead of proletarian one." In his opinion the socialism of the Marxism is humanism. "It is humanism but precisely the most human phenomena – mental disorders and neuroses – cannot be understood through it." – he says. That is why he turns to Freud and psychoanalysis.
